I had a dishwasher shut off valve under the kitchen sink leaking. They wouldn't give me a quote over the phone and said they had a min $129 call out. I had no problem with that because I already had some quotes ranging between $90 to $300. I thought it was a little strange that they send out two guys for a simple job. They looked at my valve, opened a book and said it would cost $590 PLUS TAX to replace my valve. I said there is no way I would pay over $600 for a 30 minute job. They wanted me to pay the $129 call out and I also said no way. I said you can call the cops or call a lawyer but there is no way I will be held hostage. If these guys keep operating like this they will be out of business very soon. In the end my son's 19 year old friend came over and changed it out in about 4
