I hired Tom Smith, Atlantic Chimney Repair check my chimney and he told me, it wasn’t up to code. My husband and I decided to replace it with a up to code chimney for our safety and hired Tom Smith to install it. He charged me $1750. After installation we felt it didn’t look safe so we hired a WETT certified chimney installer to inspect it. He told us this new chimney was not installed up to code. We had to hire another installer to install a safe chimney. Which cost us $1695. Tom Smith refuses to refund the money.
