Hello and Welcome! Dr. Lisa Lo, Optometrist always accepts new patients. She is located at 30 Eglington West on the corner of Hurontario & Eglington (NOT the green building), next to the Scotiabank. Her office can be reached at 289-521-2020.
Dr. Lisa is a very popular doctor in Mississauga that does eye Eye Exams ($75) to update Glasses and Contact Lens Prescriptions (RX) for individuals, families and seniors. She also does Dilated Fundus Exams for Diabetics and those that require it, advice and evaluation of Cataracts and Eye Diseases with referrals to local Ophthalmologists as necessary. Retinal Imaging can be done upon request ($30) to check for Macular Degeneration, Retinal Detachment and disease complications such as Diabetes or Hypertension. RX GLASSES/ SUNGLASSES: After you're done with your exam, there is also a glasses store within the office where her team can help you find the right style of Frames for Glasses and Sunglasses fit your face and budget. After you've picked a frame, Dr. Lisa can help you pick the right Lens type for you personally (or just let us know if you're happy with the basic lens, which are also very good), which is a great advantage to have your optometrist as your optician as well! Our preferred premium brand of lens is Nikon. We always try to work within your insurance budget or a budget that you have set to give you the best deal. We will then send your order out to one of our trusted labs to craft your lenses and fit them to your frame. Single vision lenses take around a week to make, whereas a Progressive lens may take a bit longer. It isn't a day service like some others, but just know you are getting quality and support behind your purchase from a licensed Optometrist and your outcome will be better. CONTACTS: We know that you are very excited to try Contact Lens (CL). To book a Contact Lens Fitting Exam, contact a staff member and let them know you're interested in this exam, and let us know if you need an eye exam first to update your RX or have your own RX to bring to Dr. Lo. Other details we'd appreciate are how you'd like to wear the contact lens (Dailies, Bi-Weeklies or Monthlies) and we'll need to see your RX or know if you have astigmatism. We'll then arrange a date and provide Trial Contact Lens for you to try on that day. We do CL Fitting Exams Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The fee for the exam is $30 and that will be put towards the purchase of any contacts you get with us. To book a CL fitting Exam, talk to a staff member today. NOTE: We keep a limited supply of contacts and trial contacts for those with astigmatism. Let us know ahead of time if you'd like to try trials for astigmatism so we can expedite the process of ordering if necessary. Dr. Lo currently accepts direct billing of insurances to most major insurance carriers.
