Gunn's Bakery has a great selection of Eastern European classics. Their Poppy seed cake has been a family favourite for three generations. In addition to your typical breads, cookies, and bagels, they have the best knishes in Winnipeg, hands down. They make one the best Challah breads in Winnipeg as well as very nice bagels, apple jacks and turnovers. The selections are plentiful even later in the afternoon on a Saturday. Staff are friendly and very helpful and I have never been disappointed in anything I have purchased.
