Petra Exploration Services have been in business for 32+ years, with a change in ownership & name 13 years ago. The Owner / Operator combination at Petra have a combined 60+ years of experience. We have been involved in the exploration industry from, Borehole Logging, Geophysical Technician, GIS Mapping to Seismic / Land Man related services.
Petra Exploration Services have worked closely with a number of different personnel throughout the industry. Field Biologists and Historical Archaeologists. Geologists, Geophysicist, Operations Managers, Surveyors, Permit Men, Seismic Crews, Drilling Crews, Mining Personal to Provincial and Federal Government Agencies. We have excellent industry relationships along with great communication and organizational skills. This combination is well suited for the interaction between the field to office co-ordination of seismic programs. We have years of experience dealing with all the difficulties that can arise at the field or governmental level, before, during and after a Seismic Program. We have spent the last 60+ combined years in the Geophysical Approval Submissions and all related aspects needed to carry a seismic program to a Final Plan completion. Petra's owner / operators have acquired a very extensive knowledge of the Alberta / Saskatchewan Provincial Government Regulations and Guide Lines. Over the years Petra has acquired an industry leading data base for subsequent searches, and related issues, for before, during and after field operations begin, to assist all parties involved. Our specialty lies in having all field related; maps, plans, documentation and permits required to complete a Seismic Program, ready, signed and professionally presented for easy reference before field operations commence.
