THISTLE - for a show that will be remembered and perfect for that dinner show, reunion, corporate event or tavern show. or private party
THISTLE is a Contemporary and traditional Celtic/Folk showband that will have you singing along, stamping your feet and clapping your hands while offering a recipe of songs garnished with a little comedy which some say is an updated reflection of the 80s TV show "The Pig and Whistle". Topped off with an intermittent sprinkling of songs from contemporary artists such as Gordon Lightfoot ,Simon & Garfunkel and the country sounds of Ian Tyson and John Denver. And then, to demonstrate the four part vocal abilities of the band, songs such as Fields of Athenry and Sonny's Dream. THISTLE will performing; August 30th - Fox and Hounds Tavern August 31st Paddle wheel Queen 100pm cruise. Tickets availability from box office.
