At Nimitz Beef we believe in a wholesome product. The word "Wholesome" to us symbolizes what is wrong with mass produced beef available in most supermarkets today. We are different, we believe in basing our production around values. Values that result in a healthier animal, a healthier cut of meat, a healthier environment and hopefully a healthier you. The Health benefits of our beef are extensive. Our animals are never exposed to hormones and our finished product contains absolutely no preservatives. The difference stems from the diet they eat prior to becoming the product that is offered to you the customer. Our cattle are finished on a diet of primarily grass and ground flax before they are processed. On this diet the healthy nutrients of the beef are boosted tremendously. They obtain all the benefits of grass fed beef in a faster amount of time through the aid of the flax in their diet; resulting in a product that is high in healthy conjugated lionlenic acids and has a healthier ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. As well as significantly boosted levels of Vitamin A and E. Beef is a healthy source of Vitamin B12, Zinc and Iron.
