Since childhood the most distant, Frantz Jean-Baptiste has been used to draw everything he saw and felt everything. Since then he has never stopped. Ardently. Passionately.
A native of Jeremie (Haiti), he was trained in Fine Arts at the Ecole Nationale des Arts (ENARTS). His painting is based strictly on color harmony and represents his way of conceiving life and painting, in a fit parallel and complementary. Frantz has many talents. Part of his showing the works is devoted to figurative painting and naive transcriptionist everyday life in Haiti. They show scenes from market place of life, encounters, landscapes ... Women in labor is one of his favorite themes. Meanwhile, still in very bright colors, showing the works are found abstract shapes and body movements, on the edge of science fiction and dreams. Frantz regularly present its work worldwide. He has participated in group exhibitions or individual in Canada, the United States, France and the Antilles.
