Learn and put into practice the basic principles of Pilates. Each class will focus on preparing your body, mind, and breathing for movements that are smooth, flowing, and controlled. Benefits of consistent practice include improvements in posture, joint mobility & flexibility, physical and mental strength.
Learn select exercises from the STOTT PILATES Mat-Work repertoire with emphasis on the goals of the exercises, movement patterns, breath patterns and correct alignment. These classes will help you improve posture and strengthen up the whole body but most importantly the core muscles. All levels will be able to participate in these classes.
These exercises are biomechanically put together to improve spine stability, core strength and overall postural alignment.
