From small retail beginnings 30 plus years ago in Edmonton, Alberta , Joanne (Jo) moved to British Columbia in 1990; Opening an Art, Framing and Home Decor store in 1993. As people became more familiar with the internet interest grew in researching items through Online Retail Stores and Catalogs; resulting in "Garrard's of Kelowna" transitioning in 2005 into JoGarrard.com Home Decor. The economic forecast for North America is that "Online shopping" is the projected trend for the future!
We are gradually moving the web-store toward specialization in products designed and/or manufactured in North America, as much as we can, with imports from Europe and other locations that we visit and find to be very unique or interesting in concept...we look for home decor, accessories and accents ranging from antique reproductions, to traditional, to contemporary, to trendy and modern.
