I took in a dress to be hemmed and when the seamstress showed me the length I said that it was too long and I would trip on it. The seamstress reassured me that the length was supposed to be this length and shoes are not supposed to show. I wore the dress and I tripped because it was too long. I went back with the dress and asked for it to be hemmed as I had asked before and now they want to charge me to do it the way I asked the first time.
