Agape Counselling Services

Description

Mike's passion to help others led him to launch Agapé Counselling Services in May 2017. Mike is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). He is also a certified career development practitioner with the NB Career Development Association (NBCDA), where he also serves as a member of the Board. His services as a counsellor can be covered by some Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Mike has also served at Capital Community Church as Youth Pastor and Student Pastor. His experience working with teenagers and adults from many different backgrounds has equipped him to assist you in your journey. Mike is a member of Pabineau First Nation in northern New Brunswick. He recently completed his Master of Education degree in Counselling at the University of New Brunswick. His thesis entitled, "The effect of social variables on the career aspirations of New Brunswick Aboriginal adults, " was completed in the fall of 2016 and an article will be published in the Winter 2018 edition of the Canadian Journal of Career Development (CJCD).
