I joined Signature HomeStyles in April of 2007. At the time I had been driving school bus for 15 years and also working in a lumber yard. Basically working 6 days a week for minimum wage. I would probably still be there - I liked the jobs - but grandchildren started to arrive and they lived 9 hours away. I wanted to go visit them once a month but needless to say my bosses weren't too happy about giving me so much time off. I started looking for a different job. But when you live in small town Saskatchewan, Canada, it is really hard to give up jobs you like for something you might hate. Then I was invited to a Signature HomeStyles party - where the rep said "After 10 months of being a rep I was able to quit my day job!" This made me realize that I could TRY being a rep AND keep my other jobs. So I did. I worked all three jobs for three months, realized I loved doing parties and was making money at it, so quit the other two. This home based business is now my full time job and I work at it everyday. Besides my weekly paycheck, I have been rewarded with a FREE company trip every year, and as of October 2014, I have paid off the NEW car I bought in 2009 - a Ford Flex - totally with my commission and override cheques! I haven't mentioned all the GREAT friends I've made both in Canada and the US. We are one huge family!
