I took my 2 son in laws and 12 year old grandson on a very memorable sturgeon fishing adventure. We landed 9 of the 11 we hooked. My grandson getting the largest which was just shy of 8 feet long. A good 45 minute fight which exhausted him but he never gave up reeling that bad boy. All the sturgeon we landed were over 6 feet. One that managed to excape almost spooled the reel that made us pull up anchor and chase him and keep directing him away from boat and motor when he tried going under it. As true fishermen we figure it had to be at least 15 feet long LOL. Looking forward to next trip. Rick is the best guide on the rive in my opinion based on other charters that I have taken.
