Heart and Home Errand Services is a locally-owned, non-medical, in-home service, allowing seniors to live in their own homes independently and safely.
We are committed to providing Winnipeg seniors and their families with flexible assistance in day-to-day activities, while promoting independence, good health, happiness, security, and peace of mind. My name is Nicki Bruce and I am owner, operator, and “Chief Errand Officer” at Heart and Home Errand Services. I have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Guelph, and spent the last 16 years working in sales. Throughout my sales career, I placed a strong emphasis on relationship building and developing excellent customer service skills that exceeded my client’s expectations. When faced with a career change, I realized that one of the most fulfilling and purposeful experiences of my life was helping my grandparents, and most recently my elderly neighbour and her brother stay healthy, active, and independent in their homes. I am kind, caring, genuine, compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. I am trained in CPR and First Aid through St. John’s Ambulance, fully insured and bondable, have a clean driver’s abstract, and a criminal background check.
