I am a skilled clinician with more than 15 years of experience in the social services field. My approach is direct, caring, and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents presenting a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, conflict, anger, family violence, and work related problems. I have been working with men charged with partner assault for the past 6 yrs with the goal of assisting in gaining insight in making better choices.
I assist clients through a strength-based and collaborative process of identifying the changes that are important to them. I use components from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Narrative, Cognitive Behavioural, Brief Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and Reality Therapy.
