I work with clients in an integrated and holistic manner. I prefer the least intrusive approach that respects the person’s wisdom and resources (and their ability to connect with them). I'm passionate about using a model that appreciates and includes our minds, bodies, spirit, and emotions.
I believe that many people are longing for a change. That they have a small and quiet voice inside that possesses a different feeling of truth. Clients often benefit from examining patterns of behaviour, thoughts, and emotions. By increasing conscious contact with our mental, emotional, and physical worlds, aspects that are blocking potential can be released. Often we are able to gain greater access to that voice inside. I draw upon diverse therapeutic resources, depending on the presenting need. Clients may prefer a practical "tune up" which can be achieved quickly or to delve deeper into insight and healing. Clients most often contact me regarding anxiety and/or depression, which can present in a variety of ways. I also see clients experiencing challenges with emotions, relationships, grief, trauma, and pain.
