The Lunenburg Chiselworks
68 Hermans Island Road RR3,Business details
Description
The Lunenburg Chiselworks was founded in 1996 in the historic town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, “A UNECSO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.” Don Wilson, a long time woodcarver, furniture restorer and the company founder, having relocated to Lunenburg three years previous finally realized that it was time to pick up the tools again and resume his love of the craft.
In the beginning The Lunenburg Chiselworks created hand carved signage for businesses, homes, and yachts. Chiselworks then added furniture conservation, restoration of antique furniture and a showroom for nautical artifact sales. Having grown and specialized, we are now located at our new premises at 68 Hermans Island Road in Martins Brook, just a hop skip and a jump from our former Lunenburg location.
Chiselworks strives to achieve the highest quality of workmanship and works closely with its clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Our slogan “Craftsmanship in the Lunenburg Tradition “ reflects Lunenburg’s famous shipbuilding heritage.
