We have a team of dedicated and experienced BC CERTIFIED TEACHERS, who teach in the Richmond school district, ready to help students strengthen and develop the skills they need. Our center specializes in tutoring junior to senior math, science, advance placement, humanities and social studies.
At SLC we not only concentrate on providing students with the knowledge needed to be successful in school but we hope to teach life-long tools that will increase a student’s confidence and understanding of how to study, learn and think. With over 50 years of combined teaching experience at all levels of teaching, our teachers have the credentials and experience needed to make a real positive impact on a student’s life. Our Advantage! Qualified Our tutors are qualified teachers. They all have a BC College of Teachers’ Teaching Certificate. In addition to the BCTF Code of Ethics, our tutors are also required to follow the Teachers’ Tutoring Service Code of Ethics. Experienced All our tutors are full time teachers in the Richmond school district. We have tutors primarily for Secondary school in the subjects of Math, Science, Advanced Placement, Humanities and Social Studies.
