Gifted with unique abilities and premonitions, Ellen Vokey decided to use her talents to answer people’s questions.
Ellen’s mother was a tea leaf reader and Ellen’s sister a Tarot card reader. Ellen delved into this for many years, and, after her sister’s death in 1998, Ellen has served as a psychic who operates “Tarot Card/Teacup Readings by Ellen”, a psychic readings business that does Tarot card and teacup readings. In her role, Ms. Vokey is responsible for executing interpersonal communications and accounting, writing, and meeting people and conversing with them one-on-one and in groups. She is highly skilled in her work, but is particularly known for her Tasseography, otherwise known as tasseomancy or tassology, skills. This is the art of tea leaf reading, and also includes coffee grounds and wine sediments. Ms. Vokey believes tea leaf reading is a fun and healthy way for individuals to find out more about themselves. Ms. Vokey operated a match-making service “Cape Companions” for six years, which resulted in seven marriages and many relationships. Ellen previously operated her own home-based accounting and bookkeeping business successfully for 32 years! She is currently studying Dream Analysis. Ms. Vokey earned a Bachelor of Arts, with a concentration in Psychology and English, at Cape Breton University. She also earned a Diploma in Business Administration at Cape Breton Business College.
