As a décor and design resource, Brigham Interiors’ valued services are available to residents in the Fredericton and surrounding areas for aide in residential building and renovation consultation and project management, interior wall finishes consultation, wallpaper installation, custom sewing and upholstery, interior staging, and custom furniture refinishing. In a nutshell: if your project involves improving your home’s living spaces, I am here to help. I provide my clients with quality materials while working within decided budgets. I am here to make your home décor dreams an obtainable reality by assisting you with every aspect of your residential endeavor – big or small. My passion for the trade is infectious, you’ll be smiling before you know it at what once gave you anxiety. Nothing feels better than scratching a project off of “the list” except of course having fun while doing so. How I got started you might ask… After spending my entire childhood redecorating my bedrooms and refinishing anything my mom would let me get my hands on I was certain of my calling as a decorator at the age of 13. I was in my first year of university at UNB – not loving the academic life – when a friend’s mother showed me a clipping from The Daily Gleaner stating that CompuCollege was offering an Interior Decorating and Design Concepts diploma course. I was beyond sold. The idea to not continue on the path to a B.A. was not well received at first.. let me tell you. I got a lot of “just get a degree as a back up”, “what if you ever want to get a real job.” oh yeah.. it wasn’t pretty. Skip ahead to after graduating from CompuCollege in 2006 with honors and a Diploma in Interior Decorating and Design Concepts, I moved to persue a job and potential career in the “small” town of Fort McMurray, AB in January 2007. Firstly, working at the local Benjamin Moore, I discovered a passion for quality paint products, paint colours and wallpaper… not to mention management, ordering, and working with building contractors. With a knack for colours, I soon discovered the public’s overwhelming need for assistance in interior paint colour selection (every customer would say “I just want to bring you home with me.”) and there was born Brigham Interiors. Which soon became a reliable source for all residential design aspects for the Fort McMurray area. Four years and a load of fabulous experience later I and Brigham Interiors moved back to the city I call home – Fredericton in 2010. With the love of my life and a baby on the way (now 2 babies ages 2 and 4 years) I am so happy and fortunate to be able to do the work I love in my hometown. It’s the best of both worlds!
