Personal Training: Whether you are looking to lose the pregnacy weigth, tone up or train for your first 5K race, each work-out is designed with your specific goals in mind. Regardless of your fitness level or experience with strength training, each work out is designed based on your current fitness level. A typical personal training session is 45-60 minutes long. Each sessions consists of a warm-up, strength training component and a cool-down. Bootcamp : This is an outdoor group training class that runs from mid May to late October. It includes running drills, calisthenics, core training and a variety of muscular strength and endurance exercises. If you are looking for a challenge and heart pumping work-out this one is for you. If you are new to exercise, but would like to get the benefits of a boot camp class you may join the Beginners’ Boot Camp. Fitness Kickboxing Classes: Train like a real kickboxer, gaining all the fitness benefits without having to get in the ring. Burn off 600-800 calories in this high energy one hour class. Fitness and Nutritional Assessment Prior to the beginning of an exercise program, each client is required to go through a health screening and a fitness evaluation process. This includes filling out a PAR-Q questionnaire and a health history form. Resting heart rate, resting blood pressure, body composition, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility are assessed during the fitness evaluation. For the nutritional assessment, a client must keep a diet log for 3 days and record all of the foods and liquids consumed.
