Started in Edmonton, Alberta in 1964, Boston Pizza is ‘two experiences under one roof’ – a family-friendly casual dining restaurant with a separate sports bar.
Boston Pizza restaurants offer a casual dining setting with over 100 menu items including gourmet pizzas made with our signature hand pressed dough. We also have mouth-watering pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrées and desserts. The restaurant is perfect for families, teams and groups of all ages and the sports bars have big screen TVs to catch your favourite game. These are the things that keep our guests coming back again and again. Most of our restaurants also have an outdoor patio for all of our guests to sit back and soak up the sun.

On Canada Day, we were celebrating at the Cloverdale Ampitheatre, and decided we wanted to have a sit down meal and cold beer rather than the typical carnival fare. I called Boston Pizza and asked to have my name put on the list, and they said sure, but it would take 20 to 25 minutes. We immediately went across, took about 10 minutes with the crowds, and when we arrived they said they called us and we were not there. We were put back on the waiting list. We were seated 10 minutes later. The server took an additional 20 minutes to greet us, which we decided must be due to understaffing, because the location had plenty of empty seats. I ordered the feature Steak Salad - only to be told they were out of steak. I then ordered ribs, my husband ordered a salad, and our son ordered Bugs & Cheese. My husband and I got our meals 30 minutes later, and waited an additional 15 minutes for our son's meal to come. The food was fine, but the service was not. I might try the location again, on a slow day.
