Skycroft Camps Cottages & Boats

This used to be owned by friends of mine, they just recently sold it. Our church's Sunday School would have weekend getaways here every June. It was great - they have a nice beach and there are plenty of canoes, power boats, etc. You could also rent out the tour boat for a tour around the lake to see the little islands that are around there, cottages, etc. They have a little island called rock island that was a magnet for the kids to go explore. The water was always nice. You had your own private campsite with water and power on the sites and there was a canteen store where you could buy imenities such as milk, candy, fishing gear, etc. It is too bad that they sold it, we always had a great time there. I hope that the new owners continue the business and it thrives for them.
